Said goodbye to Grandpa this weekend. The ceremony and rituals we observed were simple, yet meaningful ways to honor him. The hours we spent folding joss paper for burning was strangely comforting. I can’t help thinking of all those summers when he bought all us cousins sparklers and fireworks for the Fourth of July when we were kiddos.

I was telling Josh I heard fans yelling boo during the post game show. He said, “Are you sure they weren’t yelling ‘Cruuuuuuuz’?” I said, “It sounded like ‘Booooooo’ to me. Maybe it was Cr-boooooooo-uz.”
